Where IJFEST stands on indexing, stated plainly.
Why this page lists nothing
A journal is indexed when a database has assessed it and accepted it. Until that has happened there is nothing to report, and listing services as “pending” or “in progress” invites readers to assume a relationship that does not exist. We would rather show an empty page than a claim we cannot evidence.
Indexing is also not something an author needs to take on trust. Every article page emits the metadata that abstracting services read — Highwire citation tags, schema.org JSON-LD and Dublin Core — so the record is harvestable from the day an article publishes, whether or not any particular database has chosen to harvest it yet.

What this means for authors
If being indexed in a particular database matters for your assessment, promotion or funding, submit elsewhere. We would rather say so here than have you discover it after publication. Authors retain copyright under CC BY 4.0 and may deposit any version in any repository at any time, with no embargo, so publishing here does not prevent you depositing the work where it will be found.
